1204. Thomas* MARSHFIELD²⁰³⁸ was born about 1602 in Exeter, Devonshire, England. He died before 1649 in Westfield, Hampden Co., MA. He was in Dorchester in 1635 and by 1637 he was in Windsor, Ct. Hinman says he left the Windsor Colony, 1643, apparently on account of some difficulty in the Church. He was a gentleman of good standing, and presumed to have been the father of Samuel one of the proprietors of West field, who died in Springfield, MA. 1692. Thomas* MARSHFIELD and Goody Unknown* were married before 1633.
