"In the name of God, Amen. Conrad Cornealison, Senior, of the State of Georgia and County of Wilkes, Yeoman, being weak of body, but sound in mind and memory, Blessed be God -- Do make this my last will and Testament in manner following that is to say, In primus, I give and bequeath uto my beloved sons John and Conrad Cornealison all that tract or parcel of Land containing four hundred and fifty acres lying on Broad River in Franklin County to be equally divided and fifty acres lying on Broad River in Franklin County to be equally divided between them according to the Quantity of the land it being the second piece of land I purchased from Wm. McCraee. --
Item, I give and bequeath unto my beloved daughters Amy Morgain and Hannah Todd the piece or parcel of land containing three hundred acres which land I purchased of Alexander McCree in Franklin County to be equally Divided according to the Quantity of the land. --
Item, I give and bequeath unto my beloved son Andrew Cornealison, Three hundred acres of land in the County of Wilkes, it being the first piece or parcel of land I purchased of Wm. McCree.
Item, I give and bequeath unto my beloved son, Wm. Cornelison the two hundred acres of land whereon I now live after the death of my present wife Anney Comes - alias.
Item, I give and bequeath all personal Estate to my beloved wife Anney Cornealison to dispose of as she may think proper with the use of the above piece of land and plantation whereon I now live during her natural life. I Conrad Cornealison, I constitute and ordain my beloved wife Anney Cornealison and my beloved son Conrad Cornealison in Trust to see the above legacies faithfully delivered iwth paing all my just debts and discharging my funeral expenses and paying twelve pounds unto my grandchildren the heirs of my beloved sone, Garret Cornealison, deceased. --

In witness wherof I the said Conrad Corealison, Sr. have to this my last will and testament set my hand and seal this 17th of October 1789. --

Signed, Sealed and Delivered by this Testator assigned for his last will and Testament in presents of us who were present at the signing and sealing of the same.

Wilkes County Personally appeared before me Thomas Lackey and William Adare two of the subcribing witnesses to the written instrument of writing, and being sworn waith that they saw Conrad Crnealison sign, seal, publish and declare the writen instrument of writing to be his last Will and Testament and that at the time of his so doing he was of sound mind and memory, and that they saw James McLean subscribe his name at a concuring audince to the same. ---

D Tirrell R.P.M. He died on 3 Mar 1795 in , Wilkes Co., GA. Moved to Rowan Co., NC as a child. Indenture made 13/14 Dec 1762 betweeen Henry Oxley and Everitt his son mentions conrod Cornelius as tenant.

Conrad CORNELISON1234,1244 was born on 26 May 1763 in Lunair, Page Co., VA.969,1243 He died in 1846 in Richmond, Madison Co., KY?.969 He was buried in 1846 in Richmond, Madison Co., KY?.969 He served in the military (1776-1783) in , , NC.969 'Soldier' Moved with his parents to Rowan County, NC. Served in the Revolutionary Army, enlisting first in 1779 (he would have been 16 at the time) in Rowan County. From that time until his final discharge dated January 24, 1781, he served in several different units, at one time as part of Captain Peter Hedrick's company of minutemen. From his pension file: he made his home there until after the war was ended, and that "shortly afterward" he moved to Wilkes County, Georgia where he remained for six years. They then returned to Rowan County and were there for about five years before their final move to Madison County, Kentucky. There they made their permanent home ... they lived there the rest of their lives. Conrad and Susannah and many other family members are buried in Madison County cemeteries and many Cornelisons still live in that part of the country. Conrad and Susannah had ten children: John, Jemima, Richard, Jane, Phiebe, William, Thomas, Eli, Andrew and Malinda.

Made a covenant with his son Richard giving him all of the money he had to Richard in return for care in his old age.
"ARTICLE OF AGREEMENT

Cornelison to Cornelison August 22, 1840

Article agreed on this day by and between Richard Cornelison of the one part and Conrad Cornelison of the other part, both of the County of Madison and State of Kentucky, Wittnesseth: The condition of the above article is such that the said Conrad on his part doth agree to give unto the said Richard all the money that I am worth now in the hands of the Richard Cornelison amounting to one thousand dollars. And if my wife Susannah Cornelison should outlive me, in that case, my wife is to have one third of the money on hand after paying all expenses and debts up to my decease, and the remaining two-thirds, the said Richard Cornelison is to have at my death and Richard Cornelison on his part for the above sum agrees to keep me and my wife during my life, to furnish us with a comfortable house, with all the necessary conveniences of life including boarding and nursing, in case of sickness of either, and furnish them with every thing that may add to their comfort and happiness.

1, David Irvine, Clerk of the Court for the County aforesaid, do hereby certify that this Article of Agreement was produced to me in my office on the 22nd day of August, 1840, and proven to me to be the act and deed of Conrad Cornelison and Richard Cornelison by the oath of William McCord, a witness thereto. And at another time to wit: on the 7th day of September 1840 the said Article of Agreement was again proven to be the act and deed of Conrad Cornelison and Richard Cornelison by the oath of Robert Cox another witness thereto, and the same has been duly admitted to the record in my office.
