Joseph* III ESTABROOKS^1344,1541 was born on 6 May 1669 in Concord, Middlesex Co., MA.¹¹⁵⁴ He died on 23 Sep 1733 in Lexington, , MA.¹¹⁵⁴ Was head of a military company, was town clerk, treasurer, assessor, selectman and rep. to the General Court. Surveyor. Taught the first man's school in town. Bought 200 acres of land in Lexington area in 1693, elected to office in 1696 there. Bought his farm from Edward Pelham, of RI and it was bounded NE by Cook, SW by Concord road before Vine Brook. (Land later occupied by Mrs. L. Turner.) It also bordered land of Hayes on the hill. Deacon in Lexington. He was dismissed from Hingham Church to Lexington Church in 1710. Lexington Representative from 1716 until his death. . Joseph* III ESTABROOKS and Hannah* LEAVITT were married on 25 Aug 1693 in Dartmouth, Bristol Co., MA.¹¹⁴⁹
