He signed a will on 15 Jul 1811 in , Goochland Co., VA.1067,1068 "Being far advanced in age and infirm in body, but sound of Mind." he wrote when was perhaps 70 years old, (He left) "...the land where I now live, including the tract formerly belonging to William Morrisset dec'd " (to his wife Elizabeth). After her death it was to be divided into two equal lots, one moity (sic) to his son William Farrar "providing he does not disturb my widow" If he did, land was to be sold and the money divided between his two sons, John and William Biggers Farrar. The other moiety (sic) was to be sold and the money divided between his two grandsons, William Wooldridge, son of Jeramiah Wooldridge " and grandson Robert Farrar, son of my deceased son Thomas B. Farrar." His negroes were to go to his wife after one was given to his grand daughter Elizabeth Bibb Ford. He left his other slaves to his wife plus his livestock and furniture.
