4274. John* HARDY died before 30 Jun 1652 in Beverly, Essex Co., MA. John Hardy immigrated to New England on the ship "Recovery." Made Freeman Sept. 1634. He was granted a fishing lot at Beverly in 1638 and 60 acres next to John Woodbury in April, 1639. On 25 Dec. 1639 he requested and was granted a 10 acre lot for his eldest son, and six years later applied for a 10 acre grant for son John and 6 acres for "stepson" Roger Haskell; he served as Selectman 23 Feb. 1646 to 20 March 1650.

4275. Elizabeth* died in 1654 in Salem, Essex Co., MA. Children were:
