John* VINTON1677 was born on 2 Mar 1650 in Lynn, Essex Co., MA.1678 He signed a will on 15 Jan 1722 in Woburn, Middlesex Co., MA.1679,1680 He calls himself "of Woburn, gentleman;" and expresses a firm hope of pardon and eternal life "through the merits, death, and passion " of his Savior Jesus Christ; he gives to his wife Hannah "the use and improvement of all his Household stuffs and the improvement of one half o his whole Estate in Lands and Chattels, during her natural life; " and the other half of his chattels he bequeaths "to her and her dispose for ever." To his eldest son John, whom he appoints sole executor, he gives all his moneys and bonds, and the rest of his estate, not otherwise disposed of. He had previously given him fifty pounds; and now giveshim his silver cup, and on silver spoon, dowered on the bottom To his son Thomas he gives fifty pounds, "in passable money," in full, as his portion. To his son Samuel he gives five pounds " in passable money," and the other half of my creatures," in full for his portion. to his daughter Hannah Green he gives twenty pounds, one third part of his Household Stuff, after her mother had done with it, and one silver spoon; which, in addition to what she had already received, was to be her full portion. To his daughter Rebecca Richardson, he gives twenty pounds, and one third part of the Household Stuff, after her mother had done with it. To his son Abinthar he gives his wearing apparel.

Amount of Personal Estate 114.5.0 pounds He died on 13 Nov 1727 in Woburn, Middlesex Co., MA.1681 He was a blacksmith in Bromingum Forge, , MA.980 Lived in Lynn and Malden, MA. Moved to Woburn in 1695, possibly in Braintree in 1708 but back in Woburn by 1720.

John Vinton of Woburn "yeaoman,' for seven hundred pounds "good and lawful money of New England," his wife Hannah relingquishing her right of dower, conveys to his son Samuel Vinton of Woburn, all his Real Estate in Woburn, viz., house barn, one-fourth part of a Saw-mill near his house, fifty acres of land, seven- acres of woodland &c. John* VINTON and Hannah* GREEN were married on 26 Aug 1677 in Malden, Middlesex Co., MA.1682 Married by Rev. Michael Wigglesworth.

613. Hannah* GREEN1683 was born on 12 Feb 1659 in Malden, Middlesex Co., MA.980 She signed a will on 21 Apr 1729 in , Middlesex Co., MA.1684 Proved 23 Nov 1741.

Referred to herself as widow of Braintree.
