1456. Gerrit* CORNELISON¹²⁴³ was born on 24 Jul 1631 in Putten, , Holland.²¹¹⁵ He signed a will on 3 Feb 1686 in Hurley, Ulster Co., NY.^2116,2117 Of Hurley, Ultster Co., NY.

He left to his eldest son Cornelis: "all my tools to help in his trade;" and " to my dear and beloved wife," Chieltje Cornelisse (Sleght), he left all lands, goods, chattles, housings, barns, orchards, household goods, and all such goods, tools and necessaries that belong to my farms now in my possession." He further willed that after his wife's death, his children were to share in wqual fifth parts of all goods and chattles, and that if any of the children died before his wife that part was to be divided equally among the ones not married. It was signed Garrit Cornelissen (his mark) and witnessed by Henyr Pauling and Cornelis Cole.

In 1695 they appeared before a magistrate and swore to the validity of the will.

He had his estate probated on 4 Mar 1695/96 in , Ulster Co., NY. He died in 1695 in , Ulster Co., NY.¹⁴³⁵ Came on the ship Moesman 25 Apr 1659 with his brother from Nykerk Gelderland, Holand.
Described on board as "Guert van Nieukirke, his wife and suckling child and a 12 year old boy."
Obtained 36 acres of land at Midwout (aka Flatbush) , L.I., NY.
Became member ot the Dutch Church at Bergen.
Sold Midwout land to Arent Evertse, molenaer (miller) on 10 Mar 1665 a farm on the east side of the road in Flatbush of 18 morgens, abutting Corlaer's Flats.

Purchased a farmstead in Hurley Patent, Ulster Co., NY 1669-.

Enlisted in Capt. Henry Pawling's Company of Foot Militia from Hurley in 4 Apr 1670 at the Rendezvout of 5 April.

Witness on a deed from the Indians to Louis DuBois and Assoc on 6 May 1677. This became known as the Paltz Patnet. Witness on 9 Jun 1695, at a baptism in Dutch Church of Kingston. this was about 10 miles south of Hurley, where many Huguenots lived. Gerrit* CORNELISON and Chieltje* SLEGHT were married.²¹¹⁵

1457. Chieltje* SLEGHT¹²⁴³ was born about 1638. She died between 30 Jun 1702 and Jan . Children were:

	iii.	Jan CORNELISON1243 was born before 6 Sep 1666.1433 He was baptized on 8 Sep 1666 in New York, New York, NY.2116,2118 Dutch church. Or 'Jan Gerretse.'
	iv.	Neeltje 'Nellie' CORNELISON1433 was born in 1667 in Hurley, Ulster Co., NY. AKA Neeltje Gerritje.
	v.	Gerretje CORNELISON1243,1433 was baptized on 12 Mar 1669 in Kingston, Ulster Co., NY.2116 In the Old Dutch Church. She was born about Mar 1669 in Kingston, Ulster Co., NY.2119 She died after 3 Apr 1739 in Hurley, Ulster Co., NY.2119 AKA Gerretje Gerretje.
