His farm was previously owned by Chauncey Andrews in Eastern parto of town. Gave a quit-claim deed of his interet in his father's estate to his brother John in 1713. Owned 110 acres of land in Glastonbury in 1716. Land records in 1723 (47 acres next to Hebron). Frist located at South Glastonbury, called Shingle Hollow then moved in 1724 to Nipsie or East Glastonbury. Commons land set to im in 1757. First clerk of Eastbury school society from 1731 to 1743.
